5:11 pm sunday afternoon at south Cronulla, Rhett, Ruben and myself pull up to surf. i get a little excited and am in the line up first, i wait for a waves for 10 minutes.. i get one, only to be dropped in on and stared at and then i push him and he pushes me.. We pull off exchanging words, i notice Rhett and Ruben watching from the shore.. i get told to fuck off, shut up or meet him on the beach (this dude was solid, big, maybe 35?) an angry mother fucker..i choose to paddle back out, calling him a ‘fucking dick head’, he says something and i sit up and he is paddling over to me, he spits in my face, i splash him and tell him to fuck off, we are yelling.. anyway.. i sit out the back while he mouths off at me and trys to continue to fight me, everyone is shocked, i ask questions and laugh at him.. his response was- ’ my dad has a trophy named after him’..? Now ..im not sure if he was all there..? a strange thing to say especially when he was delegating waves to people.. i couldnt help but laugh and continue taunting him.. He ended up going in and leaving us to get some sorta fun waves in the rain..- Dylan

Went up to the northern beaches today with MJ and went surfing with Ben from Al Merrick at Little Avalon. He got a good one. Then went to 'the sugarmill' got a coffee from Matty chojnacki and met up with Mitch Ross from Hurley, he gave us the tour through the office. I don't really know what to say..? I grew up with posters of Andy on my wall and i still do. He has pretty much been my inspiration since i watched " Alley Oop" To me he was the defintion of cool. He could do anything, paddle in on the gnarliest waves ever, punt as high as anyone and made the roundhouse cut back the coolest move in the game. When i heard what had happened i was over come with a wave of shock and it was like i lost a friend. Speachless. Surfing has learned so much from this one human, he will forever be missed.

Oui, we're in France searching for waves, it has been tiny for about 1 week... Waves were present on the first day.. and the third, but then they dissapeared and left us bored, making fires, drinking red wine and beer, sleeping in and actually having a pretty fucking sick time. MJ from *thesealif.com.au is with us going even crazier than me, due to wanting to snap 6 foot French beaches... It has led him to taking some creative lifestyle though.. My girl Alex just left and was with us for 2 weeks, she got creative on the camera and produced som gold.
